About
RavenScene Studios is an independent production company founded by filmmaker McKenna Murphy in 2024 with a commitment to creating meaningful stories and providing a platform for emerging voices.

Originally established to produce Murphy’s thesis film, RavenScene Studios has since produced three short films—two narrative films and one documentary. The studio’s work has been recognized in film festivals across the country, with both Sage Hen and Ripple receiving multiple festival awards.

While RavenScene Studios is currently in a period of growth as Murphy pursues a graduate degree in video game production, the studio’s vision extends well beyond its first films. Moving forward, RavenScene Studios aims to continue producing independent films, support and collaborate with emerging student filmmakers, and eventually expand into video game development and interactive storytelling.

At its core, RavenScene Studios is dedicated to telling compelling stories, creating opportunities for emerging filmmakers, and exploring new ways to connect with audiences.
